I'm breaking in the new studio. Great to have more space... a few paintings going and I'm working on this skateboard that came in the mail today. It is for a fund raiser to raise $ for a skatepark in Johnson, VT. Painting skateboards is fun... the newstudio is all good vibrations. I will be knocking out some solid work here, Yeee Haaa!

I've yet to paint a skateboard. What type of paint do you use? I admire your patience for all those straight meticulous lines and shapes. Great work!
I once had to paint a bear sculpture for a film festival. It was for outdoor use so I needed a heavy-duty sealer/varnish.Can't remember the name but I used something made for floors/outdoor furniture.
Try the hardware store instead of the art supply. Worth a shot.
Or a skateboard shop?
old skool is the new new skool
